Haleigh B. Carlson
Haleigh concentrates her practice in school law specializing in special education, Title IX and student issues. Haleigh also maintains a practice in worker’s compensation general civil litigation.
Originally from Lincoln, Haleigh joined the firm in 2017. She received her bachelor’s degree from Brandeis University in 2014 where she studied economics and philosophy and graduated magna cum laude. Haleigh graduated from the University of Nebraska School of Law in 2017 with distinction.
While in law school, Haleigh competed on the National Moot Court team, acted as a problem writer and competition coordinator on the Nebraska Moot Court Board, and received the award for Outstanding Civil Clinic Student of the Year.
When Haleigh is not working closely with her clients, she loves to spend time with her two sons Simon and Ellis, and her husband Matthew. Haleigh also enjoys cooking, traveling, reading, biking, and watching “bad” reality tv shows. Knee deep in the “toddler years,” she can also tell you all about every episode of Curious George and Bluey!
